Teleseminar Secret – Value Builder Pages and Ask Campaigns
Go to www.asklessbrown.com/teleseminar. There you will see a picture of Les and you will hear Les’s fabulous voice and it says: “Give me 90 minutes and I’ll teach you my 12 success secrets to deliver more effective and memorable public speaking presentations”. Then you have the date and you have all the benefits for attending that we got from the Ask campaign. Such as knowing your audience, uncovering your topic, overcoming stage fright, what fees to charge, etc…
Now at the bottom you see a VIP code registration, which saves $40 on tuition and an unadvertised bonus gift, which is “Les Brown’s tips which make good speeches great”. Now we created this and this is just an additional bonus gift and the discount there is an addition incentive to get registered.
Now what does that have to do with the Value Builder page? Well, I’ve found that you need evidence. You need evidence that there is normal registration and people do pay the normal registration fee. If you go to the bottom of the page, at www.asklesbrown/teleseminar and click normal registration tuition, you’ll see 79 bucks. What will come up is a page, and this is something I know of no one else using- it’s something I created in the year 2002. And at the top of the page it says: “learn 12 success secrets to deliver more effective and memorable public speaking presentations” This is a registration page. It doesn’t ask for a credit card because I don’t want it to be a secure page. And then there’s check boxes, says normal teleseminar tuition, $79. Well that’s edifying the $79 fee. Then MP3 recorded download files, $20. Well now I can say that the MP3 audios are $20. Adobe Acrobat PDF transcripts, those are the written transcripts, that’s an additional 20 bucks. Think about this: $79 for the normal tuition, without VIP code, The MP3 audios are 20 bucks, The Adobe Acrobat PDF are another 20 bucks, That’s $40 and I’m mentioning that this $40 they can get that for $10 if they order before the call. See how I’m edifying and supporting the price structure I have and really it’s authentic. It is from the heart, it’s authentic, but it’s giving people evidence to see that we’re not trying to put the wool over their eyes.
If you’re on that page you’ll see: 1-hour private consultation with Les Brown: $1500.
I asked Les: “Hey, what do you charge for private consultation?” I said, ”How about 1500 bucks?” Well we put that there. There was a premier speaker summit that he had in Orlando, right before the Ask Les Brown teleconference, and that was $2,495; that was the actual tuition. So if you add all of these up, and we put a little script in here that adds them up, there is $4,114. Take off the premier speaker summit and there’s $1,619. Put the normal teleseminar tuition of 79, the MP3 audios and Adobe Acrobat transcripts, that’s $119. Imagine, if you can get that for $49, isn’t that a bargain? That’s the Value Builder page. That’s the power of it. The power is to evoke believability and to instill edification that this is what we should be charging. I hope that you also have a Value Builder page in your teleseminar efforts.
