Host Teleseminars Anywhere!

I have been in a situation where I I had to do a teleseminar, from the side of the 101 freeway in Marin County, right after I received a ticket from a police officer for making an illegal lane change. It was no big deal, but I asked his permission and he allowed me. I’ve done one in parking lots, before; I’ve done many in parking lots, in fact. I did one with Jay Conrad Levinson from a parking lot because I knew I wasn’t going to make it since there was traffic. I did one from the recovery room in Mt Sinai Hospital in New York City, two days after the birth of my son Gabriel. That was out of the bathroom in that recovery room, because that was the most private room in that area. I just took a corded phone, I took it underneath the door, and I had a very successful teleseminar. I’ve done them from boxing matches, I’ve done them from from mountaintops, I’ve done them in my car, I recently did one from Lake Tahoe because I was stuck in holiday traffic, and I just pulled to the side of the road and did one from a Denny’s which was empty.

It’s crazy where you can do them, but what’s important if you’re going to do them constantly, like I do two to three a week, do it from where you’re most comfortable. If you have no problem doing them from your office, and it’s a quiet setting, do it from your office. If you need to do it from an audio studio, where you feel the most comfortable and the most confident in, do it from the audio studio. If you feel most capable and confident from your home office, or from some room in the house like your study, where you’re not only comfortable but you feel as though you’re going to pull it off and you have a web browser there—you can have a laptop in front of you, too, you don’t have to have your PC—then do it there.

But do it where you’re comfortable. That’s how you’re going to deliver the best content. I know this sounds like it’s common sense, but it’s often overlooked, and discomfort often leads to the worst content. So be comfortable, deliver great content, and conduct your teleseminars where you believe you’re going to deliver the most with the least amount of effort.
