Teleseminar Audio Transcriptions

Well, let’s first define what transcripts are. Audio transcripts are the audio from the teleseminar. In other words, the word for word audio from the teleseminar that is often edited and enhanced. So you take out all the uh’s and the ah’s and it’s reproducible and you can listen to it in the car, with a Sony Walkman in the subway, on a plane with your laptop. That’s the audio.

Now, what are the transcripts? Well, the transcripts digitally are the pdf transcripts. You take the audio, you give it to your transcriber and then he or she transcribes the audio and then I would send it to an editor, which I do and the editor enhances it and takes out all the uh’s and the ah’s and cleans it up, chunks the paragraphs so they are very easily read and reader friendly. The eye gravity is working with little callouts and headlines and subheadlines. And those are transcripts.
